XM Satellite Radio is reaching out to consumers–in the friendly skies. The service has expanded programming on United Airlines flights with 19 XM channels now available.
As the format war heats up for new DVD technology, LG Electronics has announced a new “hedge our bets” policy. The manufacturer has dropped plans to make a Blu-ray disc player and will instead develop a dual-format HD-DVD/Blu-ray unit with release date later this fall.
