Salem Communications Announces Acquisition of Atlanta Radio Station
By mobile | January 29, 2008
The 6104 is suitable for repair and maintenance applications and combines portability, ruggedness and ease of use with a very low cost. It is fast and flexible, enabling a typical GSM phone to be thoroughly checked out in less than 30s and rapidly identifies `no fault found’ mobiles to reduce test house or service bay costs.
Applicable to GSM 900, 1800 and 1900 radios, the 6104 offers manual and automatic operation for users of any skill level, has a full IEEE 488 remote control capability and can run either pre-defined or user- defined test sequences.
Test results can also be stored in a database via the RS232 or IEEE 488 port as well as via the instrument’s two PC card memory ports. This latter facility also provides a means of downloading operating code and custom test sequences into the 6104, thus allowing new features to be added and extending the working life of the instrument.
Transmitter tests include timing, phase, frequency and power measurements as well as modulation spectrum analysis.
In addition to the standard bit error rate analysis of sensitivity, equalisation, doppler shift, encryption and frequency hopping, the receiver tests include adjacent cell monitoring to provide invaluable mobile phone performance information for high-density and crowded cell operation.
